For Prospective Members

Thank you for your interest in Civil Air Patrol and the Plano Mustangs Composite Squadron!   We are always looking for new members who have a balance of dedication, teamwork, and volunteerism to join the ranks of Plano Mustangs.  Though we are the auxiliary of the US Air Force, this does not require you to have prior military experience to become a member.  We only require those who have the want and desire to offer their time and service to a volunteer organization with a real-world mission.  For those of you that do have military experience, it will definitely benefit you.

We invite you to come out to our meetings, which are held weekly at American Legion Post 321, Plano, TX (see the About Plano for directions), and talk with our cadet and senior staff.   We'll give you more detailed information on what the Civil Air Patrol has to offer, and you will get a chance to see our squadron in action.
